CLIFF JACKSON, LAPC

He/Him

You are capable. You are boundless. You are worthy.

Hi! I'm Cliff, he/him, and I'm a biracial, White/Filipino, therapist here in Athens, and I understand that therapy can be daunting and intimidating to approach and consider, especially at the beginning when you are taking a chance on sharing your story with me, a stranger. I believe that you are the expert of your life, not me or anyone else, and my goal is to help you identify and develop who you are instead of who others have told you to be.

I specialize in dismantling internalized messages of shame, guilt, imposter syndrome, and misogyny that often manifest as stress, anxiety, relationship difficulties, insecurities, exhaustion, and apathy. I am particularly fired up to work with survivors of Evangelical purity culture as well as those still in the midst of this, members of the LGBTQ+ community, people with eating disorders (HAES/ Health At Every Size approach) and individuals who are pursuing questions of purpose and identity. My goal is to help you reach full recovery (not stay permanently in a state of “being in recovery”) from your eating disorder as well as find peace with your relationship with food and body. I will always seek to be my genuine self in the counseling space, and I hope to help you be your genuine self as we get real together!

Cliff takes Blue Cross/ Blue Shield, Cigna, and Aetna insurance.
